Lockdown Paintings

As the pandemic hit and the world locked down I had to rethink my business strategy. I no longer had access to my cumbersome screen printing equipment as the studio shut, however I was still desperate for a creative outlet and so I took to painting at my kitchen table. In a worrying and stressful time, the process of dotting and applying colours proved very therapeutic. Envisaging women in extravagantly patterned clothes and interiors proved a welcome distraction.
