Belfast Design Week Window

I was commissioned to create a design around the theme of Sustainability for a shop front exhibition as part of design week 2020. Working with the restaurant Downtools , I wanted to create a design that complimented their menu. They serve lots of cooked breakfast so I chose to celebrate the ulster fry as all the ingredients can be sourced locally thus reducing the restaurant’s carbon footprint.

My process involved photographing the window and sketching on my ipad initially before painting a scaled up version of the design directly on the front of the glass.
